| The effects of make up are limitless. For example, a specific formula of foundation can impart a luminous glow. Violet hued shadows will bring out gold flecks in brown eyes;
while sun colored shades brighten blue eyes. Mixing pink & beige lipstick creates the
perfect daytime lip color and a special brush technique gives the illusion of fuller lashes.
I begin the process by perfecting the skin. A clean, perfected complexion is the first step to a balanced, overall look. It is the canvas that holds the work of art, so to speak. I believe that skin should look like skin and a flawless finish is achieved using my technique of layering and blending. Whether a matte or dewy effect is desired, I feel coverage should be strategic and should never appear heavy or obvious. Finally, the “look” is the icing on the cake. It may reflect a seasonal trend, express a mood, mirror the style of a favorite icon or complement the occasion and theme.
